THE DOMINO EFFECT
Here is a cracker of a trick that you can do
as soon as you finished reading this! I put this on a talking
newspaper for the blind and partially sighted some time ago.
We were swamped with calls saying how great it was from the
listeners.
THE EFFECT
You tip a box of dominoes onto the table and
turn your back. Somebody else, it could even be more than one
person, assembles all the dominoes in a line as if they were
playing a game. When they tell you that they have used all the
dominoes, you pause for a moment and then tell them the numbers
that are on the ends of the chain!
THE METHOD
It can’t get much easer than this ... As you
tip out the box onto the table, hold one domino back inside the
box. While you back is turned, sneak a look at the numbers on
the domino. These will be the numbers at the ends of the chain
when they have finished. All you need to do is take your time
and pretend to read their minds when working out the numbers!
