Since my earliest days as a professional
magician, I have concentrated on proving to adults that magic is
not just for children’s birthday parties. I believe that too
many television performances are dismissed by audiences as being
camera and electronic trickery and paid stooges, which is often
the correct explanation. All these explanations are useless when
I perform a miracle inches away from the audience using an item
borrowed from a spectator or with something which can be
freely examined before and after the trick.
Unlike many magicians, I have not fallen into
the trap of trying to impress other magicians with fantastic
sleight-of-hand when the same effect can be accomplished by a
much simpler technique. This has resulted in me being able to
impart my personality onto the tricks and ensure that my
performance is pure entertainment for my audience.
While living in London, I passed the entrance
examination for the world famous ‘Magic Circle’. I also joined
the ‘Grand Order Of Wizardry’ and was elected as Secretary for
the club. I was also the only person to win all three annual
trophies presented by the club simultaneously (stage magic,
close-up magic and promotion of magical arts).
Whilst working in a ‘secret’ magic studio, I
met many well known magicians including Paul Daniels, Geoffrey
Durham and Tommy Cooper and even had the honour of teaching
Tommy to do a trick. Needless to say, Tommy never quite got it
right and every visit to the studio resulted in a request to
"show me that thing with the ropes again". During this time I
assisted top professional magician Terry Seabrooke in making a
very popular tuition video for other magicians.
I have performed at many top London
restaurants, bars and night clubs. I also have the rare
distinction of performing a card trick on the radio with Chris
Tarrant on Capital Radio.
During recent visits to Las Vegas I
befriended many famous performers including Siegfried and Roy -
who invited me backstage on every occasion, Mac King - the
presenter of the television series ‘Worlds Greatest Magic’, Rick
Thomas - Illusionist and Dixie Dooley – Houdini tribute
escapologist.

I’m not just a magician and my performing
abilities were used a while ago when I played one of the lead
parts in the world premier of a play by Peter Whelan entitled
‘Shakespeare Country’. I have also been the magical advisor for
pantomime and enjoy the challenge of bringing magic into a show
at exactly the right moment.
